Coronavirus Update

How the corona virus epidemic is affecting our services and deliveries

Our Warehouse remains open and orders are being sent out in the usual way. What has changed is that a number of warehouse staff have been furloughed to protect the vulnerable from the epidemic. Our ability to process the orders is reduced. So far we have managed to keep up and most orders placed on-line are going out within two-three days after they have been placed, but please be aware that the situation is unpredictable and erratic. It could happen that your order placed on-line will take longer than usual to reach you.

We always try to be responsive to special requests, such as when a customer informs us they are ordering for a special occasion and have a specific cut off date.

UK Deliveries

Orders for a value of less than £50 are sent by regular Royal Mail First Class Post. We have noticed that even first class mail is erratic and may take several days to arrive.

Orders for a value of more than £50 in value are either sent by tracked first class post or carrier which is next day service.

Overseas Deliveries

Orders for a value of less than £50 are sent by untracked regular mail. The service has become more erratic; most orders will arrive within about two weeks, but then suddenly for no reason an order will take over a month. We do replace or refund orders that get lost.

Orders for a value of more than £50 in value are sent by tracked international or carrier. During the covid epidemic the parcels have sometimes been delayed because the carriers cannot get cargo space on planes
